Warehousing and Storage Specialist
After being in the industrial/commercial real estate brokerage business for over 25 years, we started Spacemaker 14 in December 1999 with the purchase of our first 135,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Sodus, N.Y. We have grown our warehouse, light industrial and office capacity to 280,000 sq. ft. In October of 2016 we renamed the company to Spacemaker Acquisition Inc.
We pride ourselves on being able to accommodate both large and small tenants on both long and short term leases. Our niche is in the food business with our tenants at different times storing finished food products, raw material for the food industry such as soy flour, cardboard, cans, glass and plastic containers.
We primarily lease space to tenants controlling their area for storing and shipping. We have an affiliation with JT Storage who, as a tenant, provides the ancillary services to other companies again primarily related to the food industry. They do managed shipping and receiving, SAP inventory control, distribution, logistics, customer packing/repacking and fulfillment.
Our buildings are in close proximity to each other with easy access, areas for outside trailer storage and drop and pick.
We are located between Rochester and Syracuse close to both I90 (NYS Thruway) and NYS route 104.
